Walkers Chocolate Emporium
Ladies (and gents if you want) come and drool over this six foot tall hunk of chocolatey manhood. Made entirely from chocolate and completely edible (although he has been varnished to preserve his body for posterity)

A completely unique shop, especially great for chocolate lovers everywhere. Worth a visit every time you come to Ilfracombe on holiday.
This small family run business manufactures delectable chocolates on the premises and you can watch the chocolatiers at work through a glass window at the back of the shop.
There is also a small museum dedicated to chocolate with examples of chocolate packaging from through the ages. The star attraction is a six foot tall man made entirely out of chocolate. He's tall, dark, and sweet, and he doesn't argue; EVER. Having said that he is covered in varnish to keep him preserved so you are advised not to take a bite out of his hunky frame. His dignity is preserved by a smart pair of white chocolate trunks, so he is suitable for children.
The shop itself sells a wide range of chocolate related products including choccy bars with amusing, or personalised packaging, chocolate slogan tee shirts, chocolate wine, and of course their "made on the premises" fine chocolate selections.
This is a popular place to go on rainy days.
Sadly they had to close the cafe upstairs which was a major highlight with their unique chocolate cream teas with chocolate chips scones, and creamy hot chocolate to drink.
